Four Seasons Private Island Voavah: A Whole Island for One Group

You don't book a room at Voavah. You book the island.
Four Seasons Private Island sits in the Baa Atoll, a UNESCO biosphere reserve in the Maldives. It covers five acres, it has seven bedrooms and it takes one group at a time. We filmed it in 2024, on the same trip as Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru.

What comes with the island
The numbers are simple, because everything on the island is yours:
Seven bedrooms, for you and up to 21 guests
A 19-metre yacht
Your own dive centre
A private spa
A beach house
There's no set programme either. A resident pod of dolphins lives nearby, and the team plans each day around what your group wants.

What it feels like from the air
From the drone, the design makes sense. Dark thatched roofs sit behind the palms, with long narrow pools running between them and the sand on the other side. The beach curves off into a sandbank and the reef shows through the water around it.
We've filmed a lot of Maldives resorts, and most of them need you to look past the other villas. Here there aren't any.

Beyond the island
You have the yacht, so the atoll is the real playground. Four Seasons points guests towards a few places:
Baathala, to the north, for diving with sharks and turtles
Hanifaru, to the south, for swimming with mantas
A sandbank, to the east, for a secluded picnic
Landaa Giraavaru, nearby, for an evening among other people
Getting there
The island is set up for guests who'd rather not be seen arriving. You can fly private to Velana or Maafaru and continue by private seaplane.
Who should book it
It's for a family reunion, a wedding, a milestone birthday or a group of friends who want to be completely alone together. For a couple, it's more than you'll use. Stay at Landaa Giraavaru or Kuda Huraa instead, and you'll still get Four Seasons service with a lot more to do.
