For example: we bring an inflatable watermelon mattress. It was really huge: the staff mange to inflate it and bring it wherever we asked during the whole stay In conclusion, Raffles Seychelles is a true island paradise, offering a blend of luxury, comfort, and adventure that is unmatched in the Seychelles. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or a family holiday, this hotel is the perfect choice for a truly unforgettable experience. Book your stay at Raffles Seychelles today and immerse yourself in a world of tropical beauty and sophistication. Rooms The hotel offers a range of accommodations, from spacious rooms to spacious suites, all of which offer stunning views of the tropical surroundings. Each room is tastefully decorated with an eye for detail and features a range of modern amenities, including air conditioning, satellite TV, and high-speed internet. At 125-metres-squared even the smallest garden view villas are huge. They then ascend the categories through bayview, oceanview, pool and panoramic villas to the largest of them all the two-bedroom, two-bathroom Royal Beachfront Villa, which also has a living and dining room. They are all sumptuously appointed with king-sized beds, dressing rooms, indoor and outdoor showers and soaking tubs situated beneath picture windows offering stunning views. Unfortunately, the sense of spaciousness is lost on the deck where a lack of mature foliage fails to screen the outdoor pavilion and plunge pool from neighbouring villas. With 86 villas ranging in size from 1,345 to 2,960 square feet (125 to 275 square meters), Raffles Praslin offers some of the largest accommodations in the Seychelles. Scattered along the sloping hillside or set close to the beach, the villas are categorized by number of bedrooms, location, and view. Villas set at the top of the hill come with panoramic views, entry-level villas are tucked among the greenery, and the largest and most luxurious, two-bedroom, villas are located steps to the beach. The villas feature contemporary style with stone accent walls, tray ceilings, and minimalistic decor that includes white bed linens, coral patterned rugs, and sofas finished in a muted pink fabric. The oversized, light-filled bathrooms offer walk-in showers, outdoor rain showers, and huge tubs with views. The outdoor pavilions are a highlight, furnished with sun loungers, dining tables, private plunge pools, and easels with sketching paper for guests who feel artistically inclined. Round-the-clock room service and butler service are added perks. Food and Drink The hotel's three restaurants offer a range of international and local cuisine, showcasing the best of the Seychelles' rich culinary heritage. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner for two or a family meal, the Raffles Seychelles has something for everyone. The main Losean Restaurant where breakfast is served, lacks atmosphere. In the morning the sun streams in the east-facing windows forcing guests to sit in the air-conditioned interior rather than out on the terrace. The buffet is vast and includes Asian, Indian, Middle Eastern, European and English dishes, most of them competently executed. Dinner, often themed, is also served here. More romantic is the open-air, pan-Asian Curieuse Restaurant, which includes a Sushi Bar in a glass-sided room that feels a bit like a goldfish bowl. Nicest of all of the venues is the Danzil Lounge which has a sultry atmosphere and serves good cocktails. Curieuse Restaurant A gastronomic journey tracing through India, China and South East Asia, Curieuse, led by Chef de Cuisine Sunil Dutt, is the Seychelles’ only Asian restaurant. Infused with oriental spice and aromatic ingredients, the menu varies from Thai salads and spicy sour soup to Indian curries and traditional Chinese stir-fries. Pool Restaurant Showcasing fresh, local products and light cuisine, the Pool Restaurant offers a casual lunch setting, perfect for refuelling during a busy day of soaking up the Seychellois sun. Services and facilities Just get married here. It's seriously one of the most romantic place to get married. The resort offers an array of services and facilities, including a 24-hour butler service for the larger one- and two-bedroom villas. The spa has 13 pavilions, a sauna, steam room, soaking pool, yoga pavilion and a beauty salon. The main 45-metre pool, is popular at weekend’s when locals come to lunch at one of six different restaurants and lounges. While the beach isn’t the best in the Seychelles, it’s still lovely and non-motorised watersports are offered free of charge. Other activities such as diving, golf and excursions to the Vallée de Mai can be organised by the efficient front desk. The hotel also has reciprocal arrangements with Fregate Island and Raffles Dubai. Raffles Spa The Raffles Spa is a haven of relaxation and rejuvenation, where you can indulge in a range of treatments designed to soothe both body and mind. With its tranquil setting and expert therapists, it's the perfect place to unwind and recharge after a day of exploration and adventure. Steps away from the coastline of Anse Takamaka, amidst stunning surroundings, Raffles Spa carefully designed to calm the spirit and awaken the senses. The luxurious spa features 12 treatment pavilions, showcasing the spectacular view of the blue ocean, tropical gardens and dramatic granite boulders. For those seeking a more active adventure, the hotel offers a range of activities, including kayaking, fishing, and hiking, as well as excursions to some of the most beautiful and remote corners of the island. • 137 Pillars: A Luxury Hotel in the heart of Bangkok

Overview In a city rife with five-star mega hotel brands, this sleek, boutique collection of high-rise suites and serviced apartments can truly hold its own. 137 Pillars Hotel, Bangkok is a luxurious and elegant hotel located in the heart of Thailand's capital. The hotel offers a perfect blend of modern comfort and classic Thai charm, making it a perfect choice for travelers looking for a comfortable and stylish stay in Bangkok. The hotel is based in the upmarket Phrom Phong neighbourhood, and blends with the area’s spate of attractive high-rise condominiums. The bustling city action isn’t far thanks to the 10-minute walking commute to SkyTrain station, or via 137 Pillars’ gratis shuttle service which runs every hour between the station and the hotel. The luxe, contemporary Asian look is done well, from the cavernous, black-marbled lobby filled with large modern Thai art to the striking gold-and-cobalt interiors of its flagship restaurant Nimitr. The colours are also really coherent here. The accommodation wings were built around the old teak house, which formerly housed the northern headquarters of the Borneo Trading Company, and the interior design and overall look and feel of the hotel complement this historic structure beautifully. The old teak structure itself was restored (and raised on stilts to prevent further structural damages). While the rooms offer a Victorian-era themed design with clean, modern looks, the hotel’s food and beverages spaces have the look and feel of a contemporary but historic club (such as Jack Bain’s Bar), with vibrant colours woven into the overall ensemble, and sometimes featuring Asian motifs (such as at the Lanna/Thai restaurant, The Dining Room). SOMETHING ABOUT BANGKOK Bangkok, the capital city of Thailand, is a vibrant and bustling metropolis that offers a perfect blend of modernity and tradition. The city is renowned for its rich cultural heritage, exotic food, vibrant nightlife, and its ever-growing modern infrastructure. When it comes to cultural attractions, Bangkok is a treasure trove of ancient temples, palaces, and museums. The most famous temple in Bangkok is the Wat Phra Kaew, which houses the Emerald Buddha, one of the most sacred Buddhist artifacts in the world. Another popular temple is Wat Arun (The Temple of Dawn), which is located on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River and offers breathtaking views of the city. Apart from its rich cultural heritage, Bangkok is also known for its food. From street food stalls to high-end restaurants, the city offers a diverse range of culinary options to suit every budget and taste. Some of the most popular dishes in Bangkok include Pad Thai, Tom Yum Soup, and green curry. Bangkok is also a shopper's paradise, with countless shopping centers and markets selling everything from traditional Thai silk and handicrafts to modern fashion and technology. Chatuchak Weekend Market, also known as the "World's largest outdoor market", is a must-visit for any shopper and offers a unique shopping experience. At night, Bangkok comes alive with its vibrant nightlife. The city offers a range of entertainment options, from traditional Thai dance shows to modern nightclubs. The famous Khao San Road is a popular destination for travelers, offering a range of street food stalls, bars, and street vendors selling a wide range of goods. In conclusion, Bangkok is a city that truly has it all - rich cultural heritage, delicious food, vibrant nightlife, and modern infrastructure. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a seasoned traveler, Bangkok is a city that never fails to impress and is a must-visit destination for anyone exploring Southeast Asia. What we liked most For sure the iconic rooftop pool reserved to only those clients who have booked a Suite. The Pool is open 24/7 and I personally staid there till late at night talking with friends. Perfect way to escape the nightlife of Bangkok still being in the very center of the city. But... what has really made the difference during the stay was the level of service and dedication to the client. As many of the 5 stars + hotels are starting to have, we had a personal butler literally available 24/7 and ready to help us in any request. And among my requests, that I usually do to test the level of service of the hotel, one came from one of the worst thing can happen to a traveller in a foreign country: forget the credit card in an ATM machine at night. This happened the very first day I stayed there. Of course I was really panicked, but my personal Butler Vikky, late at night, managed to call the bank and report the problem. The day after, Vicky called me telling: Mr. Mirko, everything is fine you can go collect the card to the closest branch (that was just 5 mins walking distance from the hotel). For sure, despite the beauty and facilities of the hotel the, if it wasn't for Vikky, my stay at 137 Pillars Bangkok wouldn't be so smooth. Another key feature of 137 Pillars House is its central location. The hotel is located just a few minutes' walk from the BTS Skytrain station, making it easy for guests to explore the city and all that it has to offer. The hotel is also surrounded by some of Bangkok's most popular tourist attractions, including the Grand Palace, Wat Phra Kaew, and Wat Arun. My personal thanks go to 137 Pillars and to Vikky for the exceptional dedication to the client In conclusion, 137 Pillars House, Bangkok is a luxurious and elegant hotel that offers guests a comfortable and stylish stay in the heart of Thailand's capital. With its exceptional dining options, range of facilities and services, and central location, the hotel is a perfect choice for travelers looking for a 5-star experience in Bangkok. So, whether you're planning a romantic getaway or a business trip, 137 Pillars House is the perfect place to stay in Bangkok. Rooms The 34 suites’ intuitive features will win over most modern, wired travelers. High in style and function, suites are furnished with Bose sound systems, universal plug outlets, a mood lighting system with seemingly endless combinations, televisions and even smartphones loaded with unlimited international phone call coverage and internet. A vibrant flower wall painting hovers over every plush 400-thread count-fitted bed. There is also a maxi bar and wine cellar-equipped pantry in each suite. The rooms feature large windows that offer stunning views of the city, and are equipped with all the modern amenities that guests would expect from a 5-star hotel. Bathrooms are fabulous, and huge, each sporting a smart toilet, an in-built television and a sculptural egg-shaped bathtub with separate shower. The well-sized balconies—each with a daybed, rocking chair, a small sitting area and city views—are a breath of fresh air. SUKHOTHAI SUITE Our Junior suite, available in twin or king configuration, with walk-in wardrobe is adjoined to our indulgent marble bathroom with the 137 Pillars signature bathtub, built-in television, make-up table and has striking views of the city. The generous living space is fitted with a Maxi Bar & Wine Cellar, and an expansive alfresco balcony with an oversized daybed and rocking chair. Food and Drink One of the highlights of 137 Pillars House is its exceptional dining options. The hotel's main restaurant, Nimitr, offers a menu of modern Thai and international cuisine, and is considered one of the best restaurants in Bangkok. Guests can also enjoy light snacks and drinks at the hotel's bar and lounge, or relax in the comfort of their own room with 24-hour room service There is a mix of public and guests-only dining venues and bars. Anyone can and should try the food served at the versatile, ground floor-based Bangkok Trading Post, especially the delicate tuna tataki salad and garlic and chilli black angel hair pasta. A 27-floor ascent will bring you to the sophisticated Jack Bain’s Bar, the pool-flanked Marble Bar and the Nimitr restaurant, where pan-Asian such as teriyaki pork belly and lamb rendang is served (tasting menus are also available). The best seat in the house for drinks, though, is at the guests-only rooftop pool and bar. The Baan Borneo Club, on the 26th floor, hosts hotel guests for afternoon tea service and a compact breakfast buffet with several tasty made-to-order dishes, including any-style eggs—accompanied with chorizo, back bacon, tomato and sourdough bread—and dim sum selections. NIMITR The fine-dining restaurant Nimitr, meaning “Special Dream” in Thai, is located on level 27 of the hotel and offers elegant seasonally inspired dishes in a beautiful and intimate indoor setting. You also have the choice of outdoor dining with sweeping views of the Bangkok skyline. JACK BAIN'S BAR Perched high above the skyline of Bangkok, the plush Jack Bain’s Bar is a tribute to the colonial gentleman, whose family once lived in the historical teak homestead that was once the headquarters of the Borneo Trading Company in the late 1800s, and today is the core of the 137 Pillars House Chiang Mai. BAAN BORNEO CLUB An elegant dining venue nestled on the 26th floor, Baan Borneo Club pays tribute to Borneo Trading Company, the former owner of the historic teakwood house at 137 Pillars House Chiang Mai. Open for afternoon tea, guests can enjoy sweets and savouries in a swank atmosphere with floor-to-ceiling windows, featuring endless views of Bangkok metropolitan. Services and facilities The shared pool and the dining area are sumptuous at 137 Pillars Bangkok (see above video). Guests enjoy club level-like benefits, 24-hour butler service, first-rate facilities and a pair of infinity-edged pools affording wondrous Bangkok skyline views. 137 Pillars’ treasure chest of facilities is downright impressive for a small-scale hotel: a well-stocked gym with bookable Muay Thai and yoga sessions; a spa with three treatment rooms; two showstopping infinity pools (the best being the rooftop one, open 24 hours, with cabanas and unencumbered city views); and a golf studio with an outdoor putting green and indoor simulator. My take on service would have been flawless were it not for a lagged dinner experience at an uncrowded Marble Bar, or a minor encounter at the rooftop pool; otherwise, it’s great. HOLISTIC WELLNESS RETREATS The holistic wellness retreat is designed to recharge the mind, release stress and tension and allow for relaxation and downtime to enjoy the property. Perfect for couples or friends travelling together, each suite will have a wellness host assigned to guide you through your programme throughout your stay for your private sessions. Anantara Palazzo Naiadi showcases a uniquely storied history, with 19th-century marble architecture and meeting rooms suspended over the ruins of the Baths of Diocletian. Termini station is just around the corner, and buses, metro stops, and taxis are steps away. Palazzo Naiadi’s magnificent neoclassical portico opposite the newly restored Fountain of the Naiads is arguably the grandest hotel entrance in Rome and sets the tone for the refined elegance that informs the interiors, as well. The focal point of the hotel is its soaring lobby, a two-storey confection of white-on-white colonnades and stuccoes topped by an enormous chandelier in Murano glass; its grandeur is tempered by revolving exhibitions of contemporary art and a restrained neutral décor. With ruins of the ancient Baths of Diocletian visible beneath glass floors on the lower level, a wing built by Pope Clement XI in 1705 to store grain for the Vatican, and a rooftop bar and pool that is the epitome of 21st-century cool, the hotel embraces 2,000 years of Roman history with aplomb. PRESIDENTIAL SUITE The Presidential Suite is perfect for entertaining, with an elegant living room, dining area, kitchenette and guest WC. Classic furnishings are paired with modern paintings, and floor-to-ceiling views of the Piazza della Repubblica and Via Nazionale provide a stunning backdrop. The hotel's restaurant serves delicious meals that are carefully prepared using only the freshest and finest ingredients. Guests can enjoy a hearty breakfast, lunch, and dinner, or simply relax with a drink in the hotel's bar. With dark panelling, low lights, and vintage paparazzi photos, the ground-floor Tazio Restaurant and adjacent champagne bar are old-school glam. The menu is heavy on fish and seafood dishes and includes the kitchen’s own fresh pastas and breads; the theatrical presentations (they do love their dry ice) are endearing, if slightly OTT. On warm evenings, you can dine at al fresco tables facing the Naiadi Fountain or head upstairs to the rooftop pool and bar, Posh Terrace, for a drink and light nosh on finger foods. Breakfast is served in La Frusta, a first-floor space overlooking the portico, and includes a generous spread of sweet and savoury baked goods, healthy juices and yogurts, and international standards like eggs and bacon. There is also an à la carte menu for options like omelettes (try the cheese and asparagus option inspired by a dish popular in ancient Rome) and other made-to-order specialties. RISTORANTE TAZIO Enter La Dolce Vita, the space adorned with black and white photos of the stars by the original paparazzo, Tazio Secchiaroli. Chef Niko Sinisgalli’s flavours are simple and natural, yet exquisite, with recipes from Rome, Sicily and beyond. Journey with him with a seven-course tasting menu paired with Italy’s finest wines. POOL BAR & RESTAURANT Celebrate summer with the catch of the day, colourful cocktails and one of the best views in Rome. Perched poolside overlooking the piazza, the rooftop lounge is the place to be, with all-day dining, drinking and relaxation. LA FONTANA RESTAURANT Wake up to one of the most spectacular breakfasts in Rome. A white marble dining room overlooking the bustling Piazza della Repubblica is the setting. Enjoy a cappuccino, freshly baked goods, poached eggs, pancakes and more. CHAMPAGNERIE Taste your way across the vineyards of Italy, all without leaving your table overlooking the Fountain of the Naiads. An extensive collection of Champagne, prosecco and wine is paired with an unrivalled setting, a relaxing ambience and an array of light bites to enjoy. Services and facilities The hotel is one of six that make up the Dedica Anthology, a collection of luxury hotels that emphasise personalised service and sense of place. Indeed, the attention to detail is remarkable at Palazzo Naiadi, more akin to a boutique bolthole than a bustling Grand Dame. The hands-on management style and generous staff-to-guest ratio means that no matter how busy the hotel may get, you’ll find someone who knows you by name and is keen to serve you a drink, book you a taxi, or steer you to the rooftop table with the best view. The exacting service especially shines through at the hotel’s Fusion Spa, where the staff create massage oils using hand-picked herbs based on ancient Asian and Roman treatments; after your massage, a tray of healthy juices and a freshly drawn bath with perfumed salts await in your room. The hotel also has a small but fully equipped fitness area with a trainer and yoga instructor, a champagne bar and restaurant adjacent the lobby, and chic rooftop pool and bar where footsore guests can cool off with a dip and sip far above the city. • Hotel de Russie Roma: A Majestic Oasis in the Heart of Rome

Overview Rome, the Eternal City, is a melting pot of culture, history, art and food. And what better place to stay than the luxurious Hotel de Russie, located in the heart of the city, close to some of the most famous landmarks and attractions? This magnificent hotel is a serene oasis that combines modern comfort with timeless elegance, making it the perfect choice for travelers who want to experience the best of Rome in style. Built in the 19th century, Hotel de Russie has a rich history and has been visited by numerous famous guests, including Winston Churchill and Coco Chanel. This historic hotel has been beautifully restored and renovated to provide guests with a truly unforgettable experience. With its spacious rooms and suites, lush gardens, and exceptional service, Hotel de Russie is the epitome of luxury and sophistication It opened in 2000, but constant nips and tucks have kept the city's first true design hotel fresh. Star features include a prime location, suave Ancient-Rome-meets-Art-Deco décor, and a raft of curated experiences – but the headliner will always be the courtyard, home to the hotel’s classy cocktail bar and restaurant. Though it’s fashion-shopping central today, this area of the centro storico, between the Spanish Steps and Piazza del Popolo, still retains some of the bohemian air of centuries past, when it was the city’s artists’ quarter. Today, the De Russie is equally well-placed for coming back with armfuls of bags from Gucci, Fendi and Prada, or going for a run in the Borghese Gardens. Frequented by fashion and film people, well-heeled tourists and style-conscious business travellers, the hotel is the entirely refurbished avatar of an earlier establishment popular with artists like Picasso and Jean Cocteau. It's a joint venture between US interiors guru Tommaso Ziffer and Rocco Forte Hotels’ in-house designer, Olga Polizzi, who together have ensured the De Russie melds the elegant classicism of Ancient Rome with a more contemporary idiom that nods to the Art Deco-influenced design of the interwar years. SOMETHING ABOUT ROME Rome is a fascinating and captivating place filled with rich history and culture. From its humble beginnings as a small village on the Tiber River to becoming the center of a vast empire that ruled over much of the world, Rome has a rich and complex history that continues to captivate visitors from all over the world. One of the main draws of Rome is its incredible architecture. From the Colosseum, a massive amphitheater built in 80 AD, to the Pantheon, a temple dedicated to all the gods that was built in 27 BC, Rome is home to some of the world's most iconic buildings. Visitors can marvel at the sheer size and magnificence of these structures, which were built thousands of years ago and still stand today as testament to the architectural prowess of the Romans. Another aspect of Rome that attracts visitors is its rich religious heritage. The city is home to numerous churches and cathedrals, including St. Peter's Basilica, one of the largest churches in the world. Visitors can also explore the Vatican Museums, which house an incredible collection of art, sculptures, and other treasures, as well as the Sistine Chapel, famous for its ceiling painted by Michelangelo In addition to its architecture and religious heritage, Rome is also renowned for its delicious food and wine. From traditional dishes like pasta alla carbonara and saltimbocca alla romana to local wines like Frascati and Est! Est!! Est!!!, there is something for everyone in Rome's culinary scene. Visitors can explore local markets, sample street food, or dine in one of the city's many restaurants to experience the best of Roman cuisine. Finally, Rome is also home to many museums and galleries, showcasing its rich cultural heritage. Visitors can explore the National Museum of Rome, which showcases the city's history, or the Capitoline Museums, which house an extensive collection of art and artifacts. In conclusion, Rome is a city that truly has something for everyone. Whether you are interested in history, architecture, religion, food, or art, there is no shortage of things to see and do in this incredible city. So why not plan a trip to Rome today and experience all that this magnificent city has to offer! What we liked most The Hotel de Russie secret gardens are definitely a must visit when you are in Rome. These beautiful green spaces provide a peaceful escape from the bustling city, and are the perfect place to relax and unwind. Whether you want to soak up the sun on a lounger, enjoy a coffee in the shade, or simply admire the stunning views, these gardens are an oasis of calm in the heart of the city. Overall, Hotel de Russie Roma is a magnificent hotel that offers a truly unforgettable experience. With its luxurious rooms, beautiful gardens, and exceptional service, this hotel is the perfect choice for travelers who want to experience the best of Rome in style. Whether you're visiting the city for business or pleasure, Hotel de Russie is a place where you can relax, rejuvenate, and make memories that will last a lifetime. Rooms All rooms have been brough in line with Olga Polizzi’s drive to make them feel like homes, not hotel units. Of the 120 rooms (of which 34 are suites) it’s worth angling for one that faces into the courtyard and garden, though if you’re in the long lateral wings of the hotel, top-floor street-facing rooms like Deluxe Suite 532 have lovely views over the Roman rooftops. Note that there’s an almost seamless progression between the room and suite categories. Signature Suites like Popolo and Picasso are in high demand among big-spenders; a yet-to-be-named fifth Signature Suite, overlooking the garden, will be unveiled in May 2018. Effortlessly blending classical influences and contemporary design, as envisioned by Olga Polizzi and architect Tommaso Ziffer, the 120 rooms and suites at Hotel de Russie exemplify luxurious Roman living with views out over the historic city streets and the magnificent Piazza del Popolo. Generous in size and decorated with feature accents inspired by the city’s antique history, the elegant interiors include sculpture, photography and vibrant cushions made with lavish Zimmer + Rohde fabric, plus chic furnishings from Porada and Porta Romana. Bringing the outside in, the stunning botanically-inspired wallpaper from Lewis & Wood echoes the timeless splendour of the Secret Garden. The hotel's rooms and suites are decorated in a classic, yet modern style, and are equipped with all the amenities you would expect from a five-star hotel, including flat-screen TVs, air conditioning, and complimentary Wi-Fi. The hotel's luxurious suites are particularly special, with beautiful views over the city, spacious living areas, and separate bedrooms. Food and Drink When it comes to dining, Hotel de Russie has a fantastic restaurant that serves a range of delicious Italian cuisine. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and offers both indoor and outdoor seating. Whether you want to enjoy a romantic dinner or a leisurely lunch with friends, the restaurant is the perfect place to sample some of Rome's finest food. The hotel’s lovely, verdant terraced courtyard and garden acts as the al fresco venue for all the De Russie’s food and beverage options, which are overseen by talented Tuscan executive chef Fulvio Pierangelini. Stravinskij Bar serves light lunches (sandwiches, salads, pastas), but is better known for its expertly mixed cocktails. The Jardin de Russie restaurant is as upmarket as you would expect (men: don’t turn up in shorts), but the menu is grounded in the Italian regional tradition: pasta dishes such as fettucine Bolognese; meat dishes such as veal Milanese; and seafood dishes such as seared octopus or grilled lobster. Note that things can get a bit hectic at the buffet breakfast when the weather confines guests to the inside rooms, which are too small to meet the demand. Le Jardin De Russie From the elegant dining room, replete with stylish classically-inspired accents, to the verdant outdoor terrace at the foot of the Pincio, surrounded by mature pine and flowering citrus, Le Jardin de Russie offers stylish Italian cuisine in sublime surrounds in Rome. Stravinskij Bar Your oasis in the historic heart of Rome, the Stravinskij Bar is the gathering place for the city’s bright and beautiful. Crowned by mature trees, fountains, and lush botanicals, our private piazza is at the foot of Hotel de Russie’s Secret Garden, lending it a certain splendour. Services and facilities Service is top-notch, and it can be safely said the the De Russie boasts some of the best-informed concierges in the capital. Facilities include a small but rather lovely spa with six treatment rooms, a fully equipped gym, and a range of bespoke activities. There’s even a Massimo Serini ‘Hair Corner’ salon, open from noon to 9pm. Guests can also go for the hotel's Avenue of Style programme, which offers bespoke experiences in the nearby boutiques of fashion and lifestyle brands, from Armani to Zegna. Pool The spa has a small salt-water hydro massage pool which improves circulation after a long flight. Its blue mosaic walls are lit under a sparkling crystal-star ceiling. Spa The intimate De Russie Spa wellness center has an incredible offering of treatments. Highlights include the 'Aux Cinq Fleurs' facial which combines aromatherapy of five tropical flowers with a facial massage that stimulates 62 acupressure points, or the energizing jet-lag treatment, which includes a body scrub, hot stone massage ana aromatic body and face massage. There's also a chromotherapy steam room and a Finnish sauna. Gym A small gym has the latest Technogym weight and cardio equipment. An on-staff personal trainer, yoga instructor, or pilates teacher can be booked to help you reach any travel fitness goals. They can also arrange running or biking tours through the city. Matild Palace welcomes guests with a distinctive ambiance representative of its Hungarian heritage, which runs beautifully through its core and is unmistakable from the moment you step in through the front doors.Built during the Belle Epoque era, in 1902, the palace was developed under the patronage of Her Imperial and Royal Highness Maria Klotild of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha to serve as the social hub of Budapest. She dreamed of the twin palaces at the very heart of Budapest to greet those who enter the Elisabeth bridge as a graceful lady. Today this transformed UNESCO world heritage site offers global explorers regal luxury through its 111 tastefully furnished rooms with many overlooking the Danube river, 19 suites including the signature Crown Tower Suite and Maria Klotild Royal Suite, a remarkable history, and a new era of gastronomy by Wolfgang Puck. Combining luxurious surroundings with authentic experiences, Matild Palace serves as the most spectacular gateway to exploring the magic of Budapest. The hotel is situated in the heart of the city, just steps away from some of Budapest's most iconic attractions and cultural hotspots. This makes it the perfect starting point for exploring the city, whether you're interested in visiting historical landmarks, shopping for souvenirs, or simply soaking up the local culture. SOMETHING ABOUT BUDAPEST Budapest, the capital of Hungary, is a city full of history, culture, and natural beauty. From its stunning architecture to its delicious cuisine, Budapest is a must-visit destination for travelers. One of the city's most famous landmarks is the Buda Castle, which sits atop a hill overlooking the Danube River. This historic castle was once the residence of Hungarian kings and is now home to several museums and galleries. Visitors can take a guided tour of the castle or simply enjoy the views of the city from its ramparts. Another iconic attraction in Budapest is the Parliament Building, which is one of the largest legislative buildings in the world. This impressive building is a great example of Neo-Gothic architecture and is a popular spot for tourists to take photos. Visitors can also take a tour of the Parliament Building to learn more about Hungary's history and political system. In addition to its historical attractions, Budapest is also known for its hot springs and therapeutic baths. The city has several famous bathhouses, including the Gellért Baths and the Rudas Baths, which are famous for their unique thermal waters and intricate designs. Visitors can relax in the warm waters, get a massage, or simply soak up the ambiance of these historic bathhouses. For those interested in the arts, Budapest has a thriving cultural scene. The city is home to several theaters, museums, and galleries, including the Hungarian State Opera House and the Hungarian National Museum. Visitors can also attend concerts and performances at the Hungarian State Opera House, which is one of the most famous opera houses in the world. When it comes to food, Budapest offers a wide variety of options, from traditional Hungarian dishes to international cuisine. Some of the most popular dishes include goulash, chimney cake, and töltött káposzta (stuffed cabbage). Visitors should also try the local wine and the famous Hungarian spirit, palinka, which is a type of fruit brandy. In conclusion, Budapest is a city that has something to offer everyone. From its rich history and cultural attractions to its natural beauty and delicious food, this Hungarian capital is a must-visit destination. So pack your bags, grab your camera, and head to Budapest for an unforgettable adventure. What we liked most You are sleeping in an UNESCO world heritage site. Is this not enough? :) Matild Palace Hotel Budapest is the perfect destination for travelers seeking a luxurious and sophisticated stay in the heart of Budapest. Whether you're here for business or pleasure, this magnificent hotel offers the perfect blend of old-world charm and contemporary comfort, making it a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to Budapest. So why wait? Book your stay at the Matild Palace Hotel Budapest today and experience the ultimate in Hungarian hospitality! Rooms The soaring ceilings and jewel-toned velvets in the 130 rooms should come as no surprise after the grand Art-Nouveau-meets-Baroque public spaces. MKV Design, the team behind several of the planet’s smartest properties, including the hotels at Costa Navarino in Greece, have kept things simple. Arty touches nod to the Palace’s bohemian former life – Art Deco panelling behind squishy beds, ginormous mirrors and marble coffee tables are in most rooms. The views across the river threaten to be the star of the show – we recommend opening the drapes from bed for a smug early morning view of Pest waking up – until you spot the bathroom. Inspired by Hungary’s well-documented spa culture and Zsolnay tiles, they’re bigger than most London flats, with a bath huge enough to submerge in separated by glass doors. Heaven. Food and Drink The hotel's restaurant is another standout feature, offering guests an extensive menu of international and Hungarian cuisine. The restaurant is renowned for its delicious food and attentive service, making it the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing meal after a long day of exploring the city. The ground floor restaurant Spago is a Beverly Hills to Budapest transport from Wolfgang Puck. The slick dining room is at street level, spilling onto the patio outside in warmer months, and perfect for people gawping. Menus are fairly typical of the master chef, but foie gras pizza and huge steaks are joined by traditional Hungarian dishes such as goulash and steak tartare for a local feel. Breakfast is also served in Spago and is a notably more casual affair than supper. Rooftop bar The Duchess is dark and sexy, although it’s worth noting that the outside areas with the best views aren’t open in winter. Most excitingly, as of spring 2022, the building’s original café will reopen as the reimagined Matild Cafe and Cabaret. It’s a gorgeous two-level, panelled space with live performances on the original stage – unearthed when a local gentleman alerted workers to its existence beneath the concrete during construction. Services and facilities The spa Plenty of people come to Budapest primarily for a hit of spa culture and the Palace taps into that. The Swan Spa is a classic bath experience – with a Hammam, thermal therapy, steam rooms and saunas. Afterwards, you can wander in a dream-like state back to the cocoon of your room without having to trek across the city. The neighbourhood Budapest is easily one of Europe’s prettiest cities – all romantic architecture, much of it thoughtfully restored and rebuilt, spread across the hills and river. The foodie Jewish Quarter is within walking distance of the hotel and our top tip for seeking out lunch or supper. The service Light-hearted and smooth – staff are well-practised at navigating guests’ requests, however demanding, while remaining warm and congenial. A sommelier is on-hand in the restaurant to talk you through the lengthy wine list, and mixologists will happily mix you an off-menu cocktail or swap your table for one with a better view. • Mandarin Oriental Prague: An Opulent Experience in the Heart of the City

Overview This discreet luxury bolthole, tucked away in Prague's charming Mala Strana district, offers elegant serenity across several historic buildings. As well as sumptuous, spacious rooms and impeccable service, guests get access to top-quality Asian food at Spices, and a range of high-end treatments at the fantastic spa. Located in a charming, cobblestoned section of the city's 'Lesser Quarter' (Mala Strana), the Mandarin Oriental is nicely out of sight of the tourist hordes, but only a six-minute walk to Charles Bridge, a 15-minute trot up the hill to Prague Castle and you can even walk to Old Town Square in 20 minutes. The river and lovely Kampa Park (and Museum) are both right around the corner. The Mandarin Oriental reputation for sophisticated tranquility is, if anything, amplified here by the historical aura of the host buildings, which span the gothic, Baroque and Renaissance eras: replicas of some of the thousands of archaeological finds from the hotel's construction are displayed in glass cabinets along the hotel's connecting corridor, and the remnants of a 14th-century Gothic chapel are showcased below a glass floor in the spa area. The hushed, sand-coloured interior, all stately vaulted ceilings and arched doorways, is strategically punctuated with vibrant modern artworks and sleek designer furnishings to create just the right balance of historical reverence and contemporary flair. Kylie, Madonna and the Dalai Lama are just some of the guests that have stayed here. SOMETHING ABOUT PRAGUE Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Its rich history, stunning architecture, and breathtaking views make it a popular tourist destination for people from all over the world. Whether you’re interested in art, music, food, or simply exploring the city, Prague has something to offer everyone. The Old Town of Prague is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and it's easy to see why. The cobblestone streets and Gothic buildings transport visitors back in time to the medieval era. The most famous attraction in the Old Town is the Astronomical Clock, which has been ticking away since 1410. Every hour, the clock comes to life with a procession of the Twelve Apostles, which draws crowds of tourists and locals alike. Another must-visit in the Old Town is the Charles Bridge, a historic bridge that spans the Vltava River. The bridge is lined with street artists, vendors, and street musicians, making it the perfect place for a leisurely stroll. From the bridge, you can see the stunning views of Prague Castle, which sits atop a hill overlooking the city. The Prague Castle is not just one building, but a complex of palaces, churches, gardens, and museums. It is the largest ancient castle in the world and has served as the seat of power for Czech kings, emperors, and presidents. The castle is home to St. Vitus Cathedral, which is one of the most important Gothic buildings in Europe. Visitors can also take a tour of the castle's interior, including the Royal Palace and the famous Golden Lane. For art lovers, Prague has a wealth of museums and galleries to explore. The National Gallery in Prague is the country's leading art museum and has an extensive collection of Czech and European art. The Museum of Decorative Arts is another must-visit, with its collection of glassware, ceramics, jewelry, and textiles. In addition to its rich history and culture, Prague is also known for its vibrant food scene. From traditional Czech cuisine to international options, there's something for every taste bud in this city. Try the famous Czech dish of roasted pork, dumplings, and sauerkraut, or sample some of the city's famous beer at one of its many pubs In conclusion, Prague is a city that has something to offer everyone. Its rich history, stunning architecture, and vibrant food scene make it a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to Europe. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a seasoned traveler, you're sure to fall in love with this gem of Central Europe. What we liked most Sleeping experience in a 14th century Dominican monastery, with a touch of Oriental mood The Mandarin Oriental Prague has been opened on 12 September 2006. This project marries the legendary hospitality of Mandarin Oriental with the inimitable charm that has made Prague one of Europe’s foremost travel destinations: it’s spendid architecture Nestled in a peaceful section of the ancient neighbourhood of Malá Strana (Little Quarter) on the left bank, the 99-room Mandarin Oriental, Prague occupies a complex whose origins date back to the 14th century. Part-Renaissance, part-Baroque and part-modern, the hotel’s distinctive set of buildings represents over six centuries of architecture. Formerly a Dominican monastery, the structure incorporates a large part of the outer wall of St. Mary Magdalene, one of the oldest churches in Prague that was built on the site around 1330. The rebuilding process was carried out under close supervision of the Conservation Authority, reporting directly to the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, incidentally, located just across the street from the hotel The most striking find was the remains of a Gothic church, uncovered during the renovation and rebuilding process of the Spa (check our pictures below). These have now been preserved under a glass floor showcasing the hotel’s strong ties to Czech history and culture. In 2007, the hotel was awarded the prestigious “Building of the Year” award presented annually by the Czech government and professional organisations Rooms Decorated in the hotel's safe but tasteful cream-and-beige palette (with occasional splashes of red and blue), rooms feature parquet floors, goose-down bedding and generous bathrooms with heated floors and walk-in showers or baths. All are stacked with mod cons, including large LCD televisions and minibars. Extra features in the Deluxe category include exposed beams and seating areas with armchairs, plus either peaceful views over the hotel garden through floor-to-ceiling windows, or a terrace with table. Suites get perks like an extra living room with sofas, Moser crystal chandeliers, historical Czech artworks and vaulted ceilings. The Presidential suite, located in its own private tower, has a split level structure, panoramic views and a dining area for up to 10 people. Food and Drink The elegant, arch-heavy Spices restaurant, designed by British studio Black Sheep, offers an ambitious but superb spread of Asian cuisine: immaculately presented nigiri, maki and sashimi, noodle and rice dishes spanning Thailand, China and Vietnam, plus Indian tandoori specialities, all with modern, upscale twists. An outdoor terrace makes for a wonderfully extended alfresco lunch or evening meal, supported by an all-star cast of cocktails and fine wines from the equally handsome Spices Bar. Breakfast, also served in the main restaurant, is a royal buffet feast of mueslis, fruits and pastries, cheeses and meats plus warm dishes (scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon and chicken sausages) and a separate menu for eggs Benedict and pancakes. Spices Terrace Enjoying an atmospheric setting in the heart of Prague, Spices Terrace offers an enticing selection of dishes during Summer. For the comfort of diners, the terrace is covered with the heated terrace offering a secluded spot in which to enjoy a quiet drink or bite to eat. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and in addition, guests are invited to sample a range of delicious cocktails. Private Dining Spices Restaurant and Bar offers an exquisite private dining room hidden below the restaurant in a spectacular wine cellar. As an atmospheric setting for private functions, this beautiful dining room can accommodate up to 20 guests. With authentic details such as bare brick walls and an original medieval well, it's the ideal place for wine tastings, private dinner or romantic proposals. In addition, a variety of packages and specially designed menus are prepared on request. Services and facilities Service here is as classy as it gets, with highly trained and unformed staff remembering your name and offering attentive, accomplished service from check-in to the restaurant and spa, through to the two daily room-cleanings. As well as a top-notch pan-Asian restaurant (Spices) and handsome bar, there’s also a state-of-the-art fitness centre and a jaw-dropping spa that's set in a 14th-century convent and offers a comprehensive range of treatments. The only thing missing, really, is a pool. Services include: Parking, Restaurant, Room service, Bar, Laundry, Sauna, Spa, Wi-Fi, Fitness centre, Steam room/hammam Spa & Wellness The Spa is housed in a former chapel, we offer a unique space in which to begin your journey to equilibrium. From the moment you enter our spa you will feel a wonderful sense of serenity. • Galleria Vik Hotel Milano: Experience Italian Elegance and Luxury

Overview Looking down on the passing parades of shoppers as you have your breakfast, this exquisite hotel brought out the best that the attractive and trendy Milan had to offer. The boutique hotel, situated in the Galleria shopping precinct– the historical and cultural heart of Milan – had everything modern and immaculately designed… so very Milan. It really made our stay so special. SOMETHING ABOUT MILAN Milan, the second-largest city in Italy, is a city rich in history, culture, and fashion. It is often referred to as the fashion capital of Italy, with several high-end fashion houses having their headquarters here. But there is much more to Milan than just fashion. The city boasts of several historical monuments, including the famous Gothic Cathedral of Milan, also known as the Duomo. This magnificent structure took over six centuries to complete and offers breathtaking views of the city from the terrace. Another must-visit historical site is the Sforza Castle, which houses several museums and art collections, including works by Michelangelo. Milan is also known for its vibrant cultural scene. It is home to several opera houses, theaters, and museums, including the famous La Scala Opera House, which is considered one of the best in the world. The city also hosts several art exhibitions and cultural events throughout the year, attracting visitors from all over the world. When it comes to food, Milan has a lot to offer. From traditional Italian dishes to contemporary fusion cuisine, there is something for every taste bud. The city is also famous for its aperitivo culture, where locals gather at bars to enjoy pre-dinner drinks and light snacks. Shopping in Milan is an experience in itself. From high-end fashion boutiques to street markets, the city has it all. The famous Via Montenapoleone is a shopper’s paradise, with several luxury fashion brands having their flagship stores here. Whether you are a history buff, an art lover, a foodie, or just looking for a fashionable city break, Milan has something to offer. What we liked most The Art Hotel reflects the personality of its patrons of arts, Alexander Vik and his wife Carrie, the former being a Norwegian-born entrepreneur who is famous for his cinematic life: a degree from Harvard, avalanche survivor following an extreme skiing session in Canada, owner of a chain of luxury retreats in Uruguay and Chile where, in an 11 thousand acre vineyard, he is trying to produce the best wine in the world and, being a passionate collector, founder of various art galleries between NY and Monte Carlo. I love to create beautiful things, whether it’s a room, a wine or a new company. (Alexander Vik, founder) Alexander, with the support of a team of art-advisors, wanted each room and space to be decorated differently, so today over 90 artists from all over the world have enjoyed embellishing the eclectic hotel (the name of each of them is written on the room door that they have “signed”), certainly one of the most original in the world. In the lobby, which is accessed from via Silvio Pellico, guests are welcomed by a gigantic reproduction of Le Penseur by Auguste Rodin and frescoes by the Milanese artist Alex Folla, while going up to the first floor, where V Bart and Restaurart are located, await us many other works of art that change over time, always offering new suggestions. Like the pop girls of the Japanese Tomoko Nagao, the irreverent ceramics of the Milanese Francesco De Molfetta, the black and white photos of the Polish Szymon Brodziak, the richly decorated fairy-tale works by Nina Surel and the collages of the mysterious Felipe Cardeña that make the hotel a gigantic dream installation. Rooms Galleria Vik Milano features 89 unique rooms and suites singularly designed to showcase remarkable art, décor, views and experiences. Each room and suite are graced by art installations by Italian, Uruguayan and international artists. Guest room walls are finished in stucco Veneziano, a luxurious Italian design technique, with twenty different color variations that complement the suite’s decor. The retreat hotel features singularly designed bathrooms, some are site specific art installations while others feature exceptional marbles and other stones. • Ayada - Maldives

Overview Ayada Maldives is a luxury resort located amidst a large pristine reef within the southern rim of the Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll in the southern Maldives. This five star facility, based on the tranquil natural island of Magudhdhuvaa, occupies 15 hectares and features undisturbed, indigenous vegetation, uninterrupted views of breathtaking Maldivian landscape and the smooth breeze of Indian Ocean. Ayada Maldives is #1 on TripAdvisor, listed among the top 25 resorts worldwide on TripAdvisor & winner of Traveler's Choice 2021. What we liked most The Sand bank experience & personnel. Traveling is all about discovering new feelings and new emotions. Luxury is our specialty. You can experience that in all 5 stars hotels. But after that, there is the next step. The step that makes the “GREAT” become “OUTSTANDING” When you can’t even imagine that something like this would ever exist. We have been in Ayada from 21 to 27 November. The 22nd it was my birthday, the 26th was the birthday of my partner. Ayada team, knowing that has organized for me of course cake and candles, while for my partner, they have recommended the sand bank experience. I was skeptical, I personally was going for a traditional private dinner on the beach, but now: I can just say that Ayada present us the best moment of our life. Instead of the usual one day (or half) excursion on the sandbank, Ayada manages to offer you a picnick in the middle of the ocean. This option is only possible thanks to the professionalism and organization of the staff: chefs, waiters, butlers and two boats are at your disposal, to make this sunset in the front row unique. Imagine arriving in a desert sandbank after a small boat trip, and see anything else than a romantic cabana and written on the sandbank “Happy Birthday”… I can’t take credit for this. It was all Ayada team to be able to read and interpret my intentions, allowing us to live an unforgettable experience. When travelling, you can forget the places, but the real memories are made by the emotions that these places and the team working on it allow you to live. The Sand bank experience & personnel.
